Volunteer Opportunities

Listed below are a few of our volunteers’ favorite areas of assistance :

• Visit residents a few times during the month
• Give manicures to residents (hand massages and polishing)
• Accompany residents on walks or wheelchair rides throughout our beautiful campus (inside and/or outside- weather permitting)
• 1 to 1 assistance or working with a small group for activities
• Reading to residents who have sight limitations. Some residents enjoy having the Bible, Newspapers, Newsletters, and Magazines read to them.
• Helping residents with group activities within the building
• Playing the piano for residents before noon meal times
• Help mend resident’s clothes
• Leading sing-a-longs with residents in a group setting
• Escort residents to and from the beauty shop and/or therapy appointments in the Health Care Center
